Himalayan Adventure Boot camp (Appropriate Age - 12 years and above)

Rafting Expeditions (Apporpriate Age - 15 years and above)

The expedition runs through the stretch of The Ganges right up to Rishikesh. The expeditions focusses on developing skills of self-sustenance, team work, rafting and offers opportunity to groom attributes of leadership and self-belief.

Kayaking Workshops (Appropriate Age - 14 years and above)

The objective of this module is to develop the proficiency of basic kayaking and extensive knowledge of white water amongst the students keeping in mind stringent safety norms and international standards of the sport.

Our instructors have the experience and skill to teach beginners the basics of white water and the finer details of paddling skills and new techniques. We will show them the ropes from paddling in a straight line, to negotiating class one and two rapids.

Mountain Biking Trails (Appropriate Age - 13 years and above)

The Shivaliks house some great biking trails. With appropriate gear, the students will explore some of safe biking trails. A great activity which focusses on exploration and life skills such as self-belief. An activity like this can be combined with kayaking, trekking and much more to design a multi-faceted day long adventure challenge.

1 night & 2 days Trekking and Camping (Appropriate Age - 13 years and above)

An amazing activity where we trek the Shivaliks to the Fairy Lands campsite, a 4 hr trek. As the sun starts disappearing behind the Himalayan range, students will set up an overnight camp at a meadow overlooking the valley.

Camping will help us illustrate the importance of management, job delegation and respect for their peers. At a safe campsite, students will learn to pitch their own tents, cook their own food and keep the campsite clean. It reinforces camaraderie amongst the peers apart from inculcating the aforementioned attributes.

Disaster Management Workshop (Appropriate Age - 13 years and above)

This part of India has been at the receiving end of various natural disasters due to rapid degradation of the young Himalayas, which the module addresses as part of its service initiative. With experts on board this module enables students to reduce risk in natural disaster prone areas.

CONSERVATION CONCERN

Unplanned tourism and allied development has led to widespread degradation of this fragile Himalayan landscape. Anthropogenic stressors such as garbage, industrial emissions and effluents threaten both the river and terrestrial ecology of the region.

Climate change, carbon footprint and habitat loss are key conservation concerns of the area. Our aim through conducting sustainable activities is to sensitise students to these issues while reducing our own footprint in the region.
